2006.05.26 Track Day 1

Went down to Shannonville Motorsport Park in Ontario for an outing with the local Z Club. A great track: very long, and very technical.

A miata family outing with me, Vince (the red one) and Phil (in it's "usual position" :)


A lot of other nice cars: 3 elises, 1 exige (1st gen!), Europa, 911, S4, MR2's and a buttload of 240Z, 280Z 300Z, 350Z, ... Have to keep the number of pictures posted low since some people in Ontario have been having trouble with car insurance brokers and lapping days :(





...And finally Phil's treat... Yes that is you passing the Exige, but your car looks like a tub of crap compared to it... And I'm not even posting the pictures of your car on the tow truck for the ride home! :D

Not Lapping with the BMWCCA club at Sanair :)

Phil decided to run with the local BMW club this year, so I headed down to Sanair to check out the action. Lots of very nice machinery, which was not all that unexpected...










Best of show would probably have gone to that (modified) turbo 911. One word: D*mn! :)
Phil had a lot of fun with a 3 series race car...
